**Today we’re sharing with you the newly designed (link: http://www.lok8u.com/ text: Lok8U website). Lok8U is a supplier of the worlds’ first – and smallest – emergency, GPS alert device, aimed at protecting vulnerable adults, lone workers, and children.**
We worked closely with their team to transform their website. The client wanted a crisp, clean, and professional new site, that shifted the focus toward their flagship product, Freedom. They also wanted to highlight the product’s functionality and improve the use of imagery on the site.

Client’s Requirements
Lok8U had a number of clear ideas about what they wanted from their website redesign. They commissioned us to:
– Create a modern, minimalist design
– Include more images within the site
– Improve the usability and navigation
– Shift the focus of the site to the Freedom product
Our Solutions
Our graphic designers created a simplistic site, with a clean, white colour scheme. This compliments the colours in the Lok8U and Freedom logos, and gives a professional finish.
Working with the developers, they integrated an image rotator into the home page. The images showcase the diversity of the Freedom product. By showing the multiple uses in such a powerful yet understated way, it helps direct people to the product pages.

Our developers, who have lots of experience in (link: https://www.superdream.co.uk/web/ecommerce-web-design/ text: ecommerce web design), integrated PayPal buttons into the new site. This allows customers to purchase the devices quickly, easily, and securely. Customers can also pay from a whole host of countries worldwide.
The content on the site has also had an update. It has been rewritten to clearly outline how Freedom works, what it can be used for and a full product specification. Consumers are always looking for in-depth information when shopping online, and it is hoped this will increase sales and enquiries.
