Music 47 Ecommerce Website Gets a New Lease of Life

We’re delighted to share with you our latest design project – a brand overhaul for musical instruments retailer Music 47. This included a new logo, website, and external signage.

After acquiring the Worcester based shop, the new owners approached us about updating their brand image. Their old logo and website was looking tired, old fashioned, and desperately needed a new lease of life.

With a new logo and colour scheme, our creative graphic designers set about radically designing the website. Our head of design, Vicky, who oversaw the project said:

*“Taking into account the varied target audience which the shop serves we endeavoured to modernise the site without alienating any existing clients. The key to this was to keep our design simple with clear navigation”*

The new structure of the ecommerce website highlights the company’s best sellers, as well as drawing attention to their new blog. Perhaps the best thing about the new site is its full stock control. When anything is brought in store, the website’s stock is updated and visa versa. This synchronisation helps the new managers effectively keep up-to-date on all of their sales.

The site, which has been built in Magento, is already proving popular with new and existing customers, as have the new logo and signage. The eye-catching black and yellow colour scheme is vibrant, and makes the logo stand out on the high street.

We have also designed a unique and eye catching Cover Photo for the company’s (link: https://www.facebook.com/music47?ref=ts text: Facebook Timeline). This is consistent with the professional website, and new signage. The simple icon blends perfectly into the cover image, giving the illusion of a seamless image.

Customers who have their own Facebook profile can log into the new website with their profile. This allows them to create an account quickly and easily.

The new owners of (link: http://www.music47.co.uk text: Music 47) recognised the importance of ecommerce in today’s music industry. The new brand image is hoped to reach out to a new clientèle including up-and-coming musicians and established artists.
