Jubilee Jamboree – Our Favourite Regal Rebrands

I don’t know about you, but minus the rubbish weather, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations certainly got everyone in the office feeling more than a little patriotic. What with the **flotilla**, amazing concert, and fly past; now is a great time to celebrate Great Britain.

And with bunting and flags galore, we couldn’t help but notice what a great design our very own Union Jack has.

A striking and quintessentially British representation of all our great nations. And it’s not just bunting that has been adorned with our favourite flag. Loads of our everyday products have had a jubilee make-over. Here are some of our favourite jubilee themed package designs:

**Marmite**

)

The yeast extract everyone loves to hate (or hates to love, whichever side you’re on!) has come over all regal and we love it. Ma’amite is pure, cheesy brilliance. Even their strapline of ‘toasting the Queen’s diamond jubilee’ is a stroke of brilliance. This quirky rebrand has seen the traditional yellow top replaced with red, and the Union flag adorning the label.

**Kingsmill**

)

Kingsmill became Queensmill in the honour of Elizabeth II and we love this limited edition effort. While not as ‘out there’ as Ma’amite, the rebrand pretty much guaranteed Kingsmill a spot at everyone’s street party last weekend. Sad to see no sign of red, white, and blue though.

**Weetabix**

)

The first of our favourite cereal rebrands, Weetabix gave a subtle but effective nod to the jubilee. It’s limited edition packaging was branded with the strapline ‘Fuel Britannia’. This cleaver use if play on words is a great nod to the diamond jubilee. The box has been finished off by some ever-so-British bunting.

**Kelloggs**

)

Kelloggs went back in time for some striking, retro packaging. This vintage twist was a fresh take on the themed packaging and definitely lit up the cereal aisle. The rebranding of Frosties and Corn Flakes were our favourites.

**Cadburys**

As British as HRH herself, Cadburys also took the nostalgic route with its packaging. Adorned with a crown, scrolls, and beautiful typography, this chocolate bar looks too good to eat (almost!). The original purple packaging only enhances the jubilee theme.

Did you see any other great jubilee themed rebrands this weekend? Which were your favourites?
