A team from Superdream and client Cookes Furniture will be donning their running shoes at this year’s 14th annual Great Midlands Fun Run. Cookes, which is a main sponsor of the much-loved event, will be leading over 70 runners across the finish line on Sunday 5 June 2016 to mark the stores Platinum 70th Anniversary, in order to help raise some much needed funds for local Charities.
Last year more than £340,000 was raised and shared amongst 267 charities. Cookes has been the main sponsor of the Great Midlands Fun Run since it began in 2003, helping to raise a grand total of £2.5 million over the years.
The annual fun run is an enjoyable day out for all the family, and Cookes is proud to be sponsoring it again, with this year’s event promising to be the biggest ever in conjunction with their 70th anniversary. They are also hoping to beat last year’s impressive fundraising total to raise as much money as they can for charity.
The Great Midlands Fun Run takes place on Sunday 5th June 2016 with more than 7,000 runners expected to take part.
