Google launched its business pages recently, enabling companies to create a page on the newest social network, to advertise and promote their company.
Google pages are a direct competition to Facebook pages, which have for a long time enabled companies to interact and advertise to a mass of fans, most of which use Facebook.
These page services enable you to interact and give announcements to your customers and potential customers.
Take Pepsi. Their Facebook page currently has over 6 million people “Like this”, this enables Pepsi to directly get messages to users who they know “Like” their product, and not just people who randomly stumbled across there announcement or advert.
