Steve Price, a well-known name and highly respected personality on the Midlands creative scene for more than 30 years, has been appointed as creative director at Bromsgrove-based Superdream.
Formerly partner and co-founder of One Black Bear, and most recently chief creative officer at Bareface as well as president of the BPA (Birmingham Publicity Association), Steve joins Superdream at a time of significant growth following several high profile client wins including Michelin, British Athletics, Harris Brush and most recently Paramount Pictures in Australia to promote forthcoming film releases.
Having previously directed creative campaigns for a raft of household names including, AGA Rangemaster Group, National Express and Vauxhall, Steve describes Superdream as ‘an agency that the leading creative players in the Midlands need to watch’. Commenting on his appointment Steve said*: “The Superdream challenge was immediately attractive. Here you have a relatively new agency on the scene that has the infrastructure in place to be a serious player. The client base is impressive and growing rapidly – my job is to now focus on taking the creative team and its output to the next level. With that, I’m convinced Superdream can tip over into being one of the most successful, profitable and notable agencies around. I’m absolutely buzzing at the prospect.”*
Commenting on Steve’s appointment Jason Manning, managing director of Superdream, said: *“It’s quite a coup to attract Steve, at what is an extremely exciting time for the agency – he is undoubtedly one of the best regarded creatives in the Midlands who I’m confident will help drive Superdream’s creative offering to a new level and into new markets. We’ve come a long way since first opening our doors three years ago, and we’re predicting the next three will see us double in size, as well as continued overseas expansion.” *
Superdream has more than 50 marketing and creative specialists based at its Bromsgrove headquarters working with clients across PR, creative and digital services, and has recently opened its first international office in Brisbane, Australia.
