Superdream celebrates winning The Pitch

The Superdream team in Brisbane have spent the past few weeks working on a competitive pitch different to anything we’ve worked on before. This pitch was for Australian TV show, Gruen, ‘the show that lifts the lid on advertising, spin and marketing’.

Following the broadcast of the show, the results are in and we’re proud to announce that we’ve won!

Every week, Gruen sets an ‘impossible’ brief as part of their feature – The Pitch – and this week, Superdream battled it out with another Brisbane-based agency in taking a crack at convincing Australians to pave the Great Barrier Reef.

Superdream Australia’s Director, Kirsty Visman, has been working with the rest of the team on what has been an undoubtedly challenging brief, but also a great opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the agency.

“Convincing Australian’s to pave the Great Barrier Reef has certainly been tough, but it’s been a lot of fun playing around with different creative concepts,” said Kirsty.

Our winning pitch focused on giving everyone the perfect reef experience, without the worry of dangerous marine life or unpleasant coral bleaching. Essentially, we convinced Australians to pave over the reef to make way for a new virtual reality experience, Reef 2.0, giving them the opportunity to remember the reef at its best and making it available for future generations.

We’re incredibly proud to have been asked to take part and even more so to have won.
