A usual Friday for a Superdreamer would probably consist of tying up loose ends for the week, preparing for the week ahead and, of course, getting ready for the weekend.
However, for six of the Superdream team, Friday 4th November started off a little differently.
As an agency we have been working with (link: http://www.birminghamhospice.org.uk/ text: Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice) for the past eight months and one of the more recent campaigns that we’ve worked on was for their fundraising event – Fright or Flight. A challenge that would get anyone’s adrenalin pumping!
After delivering the creative we felt it was only right to get a group together and take on the challenge ourselves!
We can now confirm that abseiling 48 metres down the side of the Park Regis hotel in Birmingham and racing up 16 flights of stairs was most definitely a challenge.
Almost a week later and fully recovered, we are incredibly proud to say that we have raised over £1,100 towards the overall £13,000 that Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice has raised so far. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that donated and we look forward to taking part again next year.
